Rosarito Beach Hotel and Spa

Located near the south end of the ’Municipality’ of Rosarito, the Rosarito Beach Hotel and Resort is one of the oldest and most famous hotels in Baja.  In 2005, the Hotel celebrated its 80th anniversary.  The Hotel is still family-owned and operated and features the same old world graciousness and courtesy that made it famous in the 1920’s . 

Welcoming you to the hotel is the spacious, wood-beamed lobby decorated with original murals, tiles and paintings from the 1920s.  The murals depict many aspects of Mexican history and culture providing a striking background and introduction to your visit.

The Hotel boasts over 230 rooms, all with ocean views. Two restaurants serve Mexican and Fine Mediterranean cuisine.  The food is some of the best in Baja. 

Chabert’s Restaurant and the full-service Spa are located in the original magnificent mansion built in 1935.  The Spa entrance is a perfectly proportioned chamber with a sweeping tiled staircase leading to a wrap-around gallery.  The tiles, paintings and wrought iron are original.  The highly trained staff offer a wide variety of massages and beauty treatments.

Azteca Restaurant and Bar Located right off the main Lobby of the Rosarito Beach Hotel, the Azteca Restaurant offers superb dinning in a picturesque setting that overlooks a huge 100-foot long swimming pool. Wall to wall windows provide an excellent view. The newly remodeled restaurant sports new tile floor, new wall decor with tile inlays, the fireplace has been reopened in it’s full splendor. It’s new face has a warm welcoming feeling designed to make your meals more enjoyable.

Chabert’s Restaurant Chabert’s Restaurant is a gourmet dining room worth discovering!  Located in the founder’s mansion adjacent to the main hotel building, Chabert’s consists of several rooms redesigned as an elegant setting for Baja’s most charming restaurant.  Recapture the beauty and grace of a bygone era while you are surrounded by the original furnishings from the 1920s and 1930s.

Sportfishing Pier Welcome to the Rosarito Beach Hotel Sportfishing Pier.  This beautiful 500 foot pier is open to hotel guests.  Take a walk and watch the pelicans glide over the waves, look for dolphins, enjoy the breathtaking view of the Pacific coast or watch the sun go down while sipping a drink at our Beach Comber bar.  Don’t forget to look for the green flash!

If you’ve always wanted to ride a horse along the beach, this is your chance.  Several groups of vaqueros or cowboys with docile horses ready for rent line up at both ends of the Rosarito Beach Hotel.  Rides start along the beach and often up to the hills and return. Guides take excellent care of you.  So ’giddy up’ for an early morning ride!
